How to Print Coloring Pages

Printing a coloring page from Daily Colorings takes less than a minute. This guide shows you how to print from a computer, phone or tablet, which settings give the best result, and how to fix common printing problems.

Quick Steps

  1. Choose a coloring page

Browse our collections and click the coloring page you like.

  2. Download or print

On the coloring page, click Download PDF to save the file, or click Print Page to print it straight away.

  3. Check the print settings

Pick the right paper size (A4 or Letter), choose Portrait and turn on Fit to page so nothing gets cut off.

  4. Print and color!

Click Print, grab your crayons, markers or colored pencils, and enjoy.

Printing on a Computer

  • Windows: Open the PDF or click Print Page, press Ctrl + P, choose your printer, check the settings above and click Print.
  • Mac: Open the PDF, press Command (⌘) + P, choose your printer, check the settings and click Print.
  • No printer right now? In the print window, choose Save as PDF to keep the page and print it later.

Printing from a Phone or Tablet

  • iPhone and iPad: Open the coloring page, tap Download PDF or Print Page, then tap the Share button and choose Print. Your printer needs to support AirPrint.
  • Android: Open the PDF, tap the menu (⋮) and choose Print. Select your printer from the list. Most Wi-Fi printers work with the built-in Android printing service or your printer brand’s app.
  • Printing elsewhere: Save the PDF to your phone and print it at school, a library or a local print shop.

Choosing the Best Paper

  • Crayons and colored pencils: Regular printer paper (80 gsm / 20 lb) works well.
  • Markers and gel pens: Thicker paper (100–120 gsm / 24–32 lb) helps stop ink bleeding through.
  • Watercolor and paint: Use light cardstock (160 gsm / 60 lb or more), if your printer supports it.

💡 Tip: Planning to use markers? Put a spare sheet under your page so the colors don’t mark the table.

Printing for a Classroom or Party

Need copies for a whole group? In the print window, change the Copies number to how many you need. For big groups, it is often cheaper to print one clear copy and use a photocopier. Our pages are free to print for classrooms, homeschool groups, libraries and parties — please just don’t sell them. See our Terms of Use.
